Wild animals die every day. And who knows? Who cares? 

Most likely their family notices; their neighbors; their competitors; hungry predators and scavengers; but humans have little clue - and not for lack of caring (although few do), but because their deaths are almost entirely invisible to us. Except when they fall prey to a car.

Here are a few animals that died recently: a coyote and a pigeon. Causes unknown.
